Ceredigion Coast Path

Dedicated walkers will find us convenient for the Ceredigion Coastal Path. However, many of our visitors prefer simply to relax or stroll in the country lanes. We boast a rich wildlife and even a casual foray can be rewarded with a sighting of the spectacular red kite. For those who wish to go further afield, we are four miles from the nearest seaside and forty minutes from the popular harbour village of Newquay. Cardigan Bay offers sandy beaches, safe swimming, dolphin and other wildlife watching, fishing trips and more.

The culturally minded should be sure to visit the Arts Centre in Aberystwyth which has a continuous programme of exhibitions and performances. Aberystwyth also houses the Welsh National Library and boasts a fine museum.

Golfers will be well served by the eighteen hole course at Penrhos which is just ten minutes drive from our door. Historians may be interested in the castle at Aberystwyth or the ruined abbey at Strata Florida. Not to be missed is Llanerchaeron, a Nash built house and country estate superbly preserved by the National Trust.
